Wire binding (also known as Spiral Binding) is a secure form of binding and doesn't allow for the pages to be removed or changed easily. A black wire with a clear plastic front cover and white card back is the most popular finish.
Some customers prefer a custom printed front and back cover on 250gsm with clear plastic to both front and back.
